Here at LAUT, we know the importance of giving back to help those around us. In 2021 one organization that we donated to is a cultural and social player in an extremely harsh environment.
The Sakha Republic (Yakutia) is one of the coldest regions in the world. Temperatures drop down to -60 degrees celsius. In Yakutsk, the capital of the Sakha Republic, we found an organization called THEATRE ALGYS. This inclusive theatre offers a stage for an actors with various mental or physical challenges. Guided by a professional Theatre Director and with a little help from professional actors, the group is both entertaining and charming. Even without virtually any funding, the THEATRE ALGYS is acclaimed by theatre critics, and seen as a truly professional theatre.
At LAUT, we are happy to support an organization that not only helps these actors feel included, but also respected for their talents and efforts. We are so happy that organizations like THEATRE ALGYS exist, and are happy that we are able to do our part to help keep them going.
